Be ready to create a new identity. It’s not right to keep blaming yourself for something that is gone – something you cannot change. You can’t live there anymore, so why would you still feel like you could create a different scenario?
To be in this situation can only stop you from living your present, and keep you from creating a different future.
There’s only one thing you can do with your past: to learn. You’re here because of your past right? Right, it brought you here, but don’t be a hostage of your own feelings – specially those that are autodestructive.
Don’t feel bad about it, don’t carry that weight on your shoulder – be NOW who you want to be, and don’t be afraid.
Instead of doubt, have faith. God will provide what you need, a promising future. Learn to forgive others and yourself. Accept who you are, you don’t need people’s approval, don’t live for that! Move on, you don’t owe them anything.
And remember, God loves you, and the most important: He doesn’t judge you, He just wants to help you.
I won’t lie, the first week of 2017 was very tough for me. So many things happened in eight days… amidst it all, two situations made me feel disappointed with a heavy heart.
I remember that one night I was feeling so drained, there was no one I could talk at that time, so I decided to kneel and cry my heart out to God. Told Him everything that happened to me, everything that I was going through. I asked for forgiveness, patience, faith, strength.
Talked about my frustrations, my mistakes, told Him how I wanted to be a better person, the things I wanted to stop doing…
Asked Him to help and guide the ones I love, and I was completely honest with Him. With a sincere heart and an open mind, I asked God for an answer, for a way out, something to solve the pain, anxiety and confusion I was feeling.
Suddenly, an amazing peace took over me. I finished that prayer being sure that I was heard, all those bad feelings went away.
Wednesday night, I received the answer that I needed:
Hebrews 10:19-25: “A Call to Persevere in Faith”
Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
What I learned:
God wants you to trust and persevere.
We can have access to God all the time – church isn’t the only place we can meet Him, we don’t need a mediator (besides Jesus). We can talk to Him everywhere, anytime. All we need to do is to have confidence, be bold – He’s our God, He is merciful, He loves us, He saved us and all He wants is to see us happy. To talk with Him, we need a sincere heart because it leads us to His promises, that has been given and kept – and they’re ours! Makes us achieve peace within. He knows who we are – more than ourselves, and there’s no point in hiding who we are or what we feel.
To pray leads us to excercise our faith, replace bad thoughts and feelings with good things. Makes us believe that we can overcome bad situations, makes us trust when we can’t see where we’re going, or when we don’t understand why we’re going through these things.
When we have that relationship, it’s so much easier to forgive. So much easier to truly encourage other people to do better and be positive. When we get this support, all we want to do is the same with the next person – and this action makes us christians.
That night I learned so much about Him, so much about myself and so much about the ones I love that were going through hard times… no one could ever understand me like He did. No one could give me that kind of love and support. That night I felt stronger, ready, cleaned from all evil.
Instead of being stressed out, complaining, nervous about others’ opinions, pray.

Life ain’t easy, we gotta fight every day, we gotta survive, overcome trials and tribulations, but I know I’m not alone. There’s a God above looking out for me, for you, for us.
And I’m thankful for His grace. His will to make me win, His forgiveness, and for everything He’s providing me. Thankful because He’s always reminding me that there are more important things to live for, to look up to. I’m thankful because He never gave up on me.
I’m thankful and I won’t give up, doesn’t matter how I’m feeling, doesn’t matter what happens around me. I’m thankful for the good and bad times. Thankful for everyone who loves and understands me – I love you all, thankful for the ones who dislike me – you’re always pushing me to be better, thankful for the one who inspires me, the one who gave me a mission.
Thankful ❤ God bless you all – I love each one of you, thank you for being here, thank you for your support, thank you for giving me a chance to show what I have to offer, a chance to show you what I like, what I have to say. I’m thankful for your life 🙂
Be happy, and please, don’t forget about God! Pray, talk to Him! Believe that you are a gift in this world, you have a purpose! Chase your dreams and fulfill each one!
This week I found an interesting post on Instagram – right now, I think it’s my favorite social network, so I like to spend time there, looking for new profiles, seeing my friends and family posts, and it’s a way to feel closer to my favorite artist.
Navigating there, someone reposted a picture with the text below, and I share the same thought. This is exactly what God expect from us as human beings, as people who love His Word and as believers of His Justice that never fails.
Read it with me, and please, let me know what you think!
“When people betray your trust, allow them.
But never, ever sink to their level.
Their choices are a direct reflection of who they are, not who you are.
No matter how angry, hurt, or disappointed you may be – do not allow them to make you bitter.
Be better. React with love.
Sometimes that means retaliating with understanding and compassion; other times it means retaliating with acceptance and sheer silence.
Whatever it is, make sure it benefits you as a human being instead of lowering you into a position which you would rather not be in.
Normal people don’t go around destroying other human beings.
Only those who are hurt, lost, and confused cause pain.
Don’t be one of them.
Just take the lessons and move on gracefully.” – Unknown author
There’s also a quote by my favorite artist, that says a lot about how we should feel when something or somebody tries to bring us down:
“Change the world, don’t let the world change you.” – Chris Brown
It’s in our hands to make the world we live in, a better place. Don’t hold grudges, let the past go, let the hurt go. Pray for your enemies, and focus on yourself. Trust God, He knows what’s best for you, and He’ll put the right people in your life. Always react with love! You’ll be rewarded, the blessings will come!
Thank you for being here, hope you come back real soon! If you liked it, don’t forget to share this blog with somebody you love. If you wanna check it out on IG, here’s the link.

– Filipenses 4:6, 7.

“And do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not keep worrying.” Luke 12:29
My friends, it may seem a difficult task, but it’s not impossible! What human being has never experienced this situation? There are many things in this life that can distress you, there are issues, internal and external, that insist and appear in our thoughts and leave us restless, without sleeping.
We live in a world full of anxiety and uncertainty in various areas. People who consume their lives every day with feelings and thoughts that make them lose their temper, that make them fight each other, that leave them sad and unable to change what needs to be changed, unable to do what needs to be done .
It makes them run over things, putting in doubt their beliefs, preventing God’s plan. It is the person who “puts his foot in it” for wanting to advance the event, whether good or bad result.
I say this from experience, because, I myself, been through- even created – situations that left me with a weight on my shoulders, concerns and questions that consumed me, which did not take me anywhere … but I learned an effective way to overcome this , a way to have peace in my heart:
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus “- Phil. 4: 6, 7.
Through prayer, I learned a lot. I talk to God, He listens to me and answers me, and this answer happens with peace that comes from within. My attitudes were no longer of desperation, my conversation is no longer about lamentations…
God cares about you, and with everything that is part of your life. He does not want to see you troubled, without trust and consequently lost in your actions. But He wants to take care of you, your present, and of course your future, wanna know why? Because He cares for your interests. He knows all things, and certainly has a plan for your life.
You may not understand why this or that, but soon everything will make sense and you will be stronger and more prepared to receive what you wanted.
So do not suffer in anticipation. Do not worry about your tomorrow, or how your life will be in five, ten, twenty years… But give your life to Him who can help you with everything. In your prayer, speak frankly, and when you go through a situation that tries to paralyze you, worry you, or makes you anxious, remember that this does not solve anything, and that God does not want that! Read these verses and pray. God will help you!
