First of all, it’s time.
Be ready to create a new identity. It’s not right to keep blaming yourself for something that is gone – something you cannot change. You can’t live there anymore, so why would you still feel like you could create a different scenario?
To be in this situation can only stop you from living your present, and keep you from creating a different future.
There’s only one thing you can do with your past: to learn. You’re here because of your past right? Right, it brought you here, but don’t be a hostage of your own feelings – specially those that are autodestructive.
Don’t feel bad about it, don’t carry that weight on your shoulder – be NOW who you want to be, and don’t be afraid.
Instead of doubt, have faith. God will provide what you need, a promising future. Learn to forgive others and yourself. Accept who you are, you don’t need people’s approval, don’t live for that! Move on, you don’t owe them anything.
And remember, God loves you, and the most important: He doesn’t judge you, He just wants to help you.
